Breeding and training of successful and extraordinarily talented sports horses for the show jumping, dressage and hunter ring we consider as our personal dedication and our passion.

Far more than 50% of the success genes of a foal originate from its mother. That is proven. The genetic contribution of even a good stallion remains thus mostly in the minority. For this reason we exclusively breed sports mares which have already achieved sporting success and proved their talent and their skills sufficiently in the classes L, M and S. We pair these only with first-class and well proven stallions, which we critically choose each year at top stallion shows in Holstein, Oldenburg and Hannover. Only such stallions with modern appearance, excellent movement and extraordinary jumping ability as well as a pedigree that strongly promotes readiness to performance and rideability, will be considered good enough.

Consequently, successful top sires such as Balou du Rouet, Calido, Cassini, Chacco Blue, Chambertin, Contender, Contendro, Corofino, Eurocommerce Memphis, Hornet Rose, Laval, Lordanos, Ludwig von Bayern, Sandro Hit, Silvio, Quality, Quidam de Revel, Quidam’s Rubin belong to our portfolio.

Sufficient exercise of our pregnant mares in the open paddocks in combination with only the best food and food supplements promote both a natural and healthy growth of the unborn foals as well as the well-being of the mares. After delivery, both the mares and young foals enjoy their daily pasture in the vicinity of the stable where they can develop naturally and unencumbered in a playful manner. Upon separating the foals from their mothers in late summer, the young foals will commonly spend their next two years on our lush and naturally fertilized yearling pastures in the midst of the green and wooded “Hessenland”. Here, they will stay even during the winter season, which promotes an intact immune system and social behavior among themselves as well as their readiness for future learning and training lessons.

In the course of their third year or later the young horses are very carefully and gently broken-in. The sports training begins then at age four.

Year after year our success in breeding and in sports competition confirms our philosophy towards breeding and horse rearing. Several young stallions bred by us have already been certified by German Breeding Associations. And numerous competition sports horses prove their talents and skills on a daily basis up to the difficult s-classes.
